lovely place set in between the UK and Ireland, the Isle of Man offers plentiful attractions to keep all visitors happy every year. The island offers everything from steam engines to beautiful mountains and oceans bustling with exotic wildlife. Arguably the major attraction in this small island is Motorcycle racing which attracts thousands of bikers from all over the world.
Island Glens is a virgin island and it has lovely and pleasant natural gardens. The coastal regions have a lot of great beaches and pools, which are always a sight to behold and a location to revel and indulge in. There are about 17 National gardens here, each with its own beautiful milieu and cool and comfortable walkways.
There are museums in every town which informs tourists on the rich history and the importance of this place. The Manx museum is where all the national prizes are kept. Art collections and artifacts describing life as it had been much earlier, gives the visitors a good basis for comparison and a very good idea of how the island has evolved.
For Motorcycle enthusiasts, the Motorcycle Museum offers the most extensive collection of vintage bikes and models in the region. It is a place where all the biker lovers must create room for in their itinerary so as to be able to envision the past of the biking scene as it was decades ago.
Over and a way from the City of Peel, stands a tall landmark called Corrin’s tower. The tower was built by Thomas Corrin around 1806 to demarcate the area of land that he owned. Presently, a graveyard where Thomas Corrin and his family are buried is situated right next to the tower. The tower is four stories high and is square at the bottom. There is a salon with a fire place on the third floor. Also known as Corrin’s Folly, this tower is in the middle of nowhere, and it draws fascinated tourists from all over who look forward to exploring the tower’s interiors.
What was initially built as a large pavilion was shut down and reopened as an Opera house called the Gaiety theater. The theater was later converted into a cinema house around the late 1950s. Showing the latest and most popular releases, it continues to provide cinematic entertainment to the locals and tourists. Visitors can feast their eyes with the splendid appearance of its interiors and exteriors. Located close to the sea bank, it can be easily accessed from anywhere in the Island.
